Charlie has a wealth of experience as a teacher and player. He has an extensive repetoire having gigged the length and breadth of the uk and abroad. With styles ranging from 50's swing jive to 70's rock to contemporary pop.
He has recorded numerous sessions with many bands and has click track experience both working live and in the studio.
Charlie studied under Phil Solomon of Brighton and gained an Under Graduate Certificate of Music at Sussex University. He also completed a music facilitators course with "access to music".
In the twelve years that charlie has been a tutor he has specialised in teaching his pupils in the comfort of their own homes.
His teaching methods involve a combination of learning to read music, and play along CDs, playing by ear, and as much as possible an element of fun. He also works for Bonners Music School in Eastbourne (CRB checked) where he has for the last 8 years put many of his pupils through their graded exams.
