I started playing drums in 1993, attending conservatorium snare drum and drum kit lessons and eventually collaborating with other pupils in various musical activities.

Since 2004 I have been touring and recording extreme metal albums across Europe and Israel, primarily with The Rotted, on Metal Blade and Candlelight records.

Although I waited eleven years before venturing out of the practice room to become a touring drummer, thinking Id be prepared, I learned more in the first year on the road than I did in the previous eleven.

Playing with and to others are the most important aspects of being a musician. Building technique is very important too, however. The years spent practicing stick and bass drum technique as well as whole drum set application is always the basis of a players merit. These skills will come out the most in the studio, where they will become apparent.

One of the great joys of touring is encountering talented musicians and learning from them. I love picking up knowledge, technique and advice all the time, but I also love to impart of what I know! I hope to teach what I have learned from both my years of practice and study as well as being a performer.

Currently I am performing with The Rotted, providing session work and teaching out of Beckington in Somerset.

I am always mobile and willing to come to you, as often much more benefit can be had by the student since I can help with their set up to better aid their learning. However, I have a quite home studio and will soon have a live room for use of acoustic drums as well.
