My teaching is reinforced with years of experience of playing and educating at a high level. My teaching focuses on enjoyment of playing whilst learning good technique and also furthering your ability to learn on your own; teaching you to overcome obstacles in your playing by giving you the tools to solve problems in a sensible and musical manner. 

I’ve studied with some of the World’s finest players and have taken into account all that I’ve witnessed and learnt. I endeavour to make my teaching inspiring and thought-invoking. Through self reflective lessons I try to help students take a step back and evaluate problems in accordance with good technique and musical playing, this ensures that whilst away from lessons and practising at home, students can learn more effectively and efficiently.

I teach all grades and exam boards - from first timers to advanced players.

My studio is equipped with two acoustic kits, an electronic kit, a marimba, piano and various other instruments. Along with this is a library of over 200 teaching books.
