Based in Ealing, West London, Matt has over 18 years of drumming experience after first starting lessons at the age of 6, and later broadened his interest to include orchestral percussion. Over these 18 years he has been in demand as a session musician in both London and Leeds, playing in a variety of different situations including big bands, studio recordings, orchestras, theatre productions, samba groups, small jazz combos, and many more. He has also toured extensively in France, Germany, and Spain, and has experience of teaching students of differing abilities.
