Andy began playing drums when he was aged 11 and since playing his first professional gigs at the age of 16 has established himself as a leading session drummer, composer and tutor. After playing with the award-winning jazz group Time Out while still in his teens he  went on to study Music Performance and Recording Technology at establishments such as The London College of Music, The Musicians Academy and Drumtech. Andy has since gone on to work with the likes of Hue and Cry, Elvin Jones and Black Gate, with recording sessions at the illustrious Metropolis and Air studios in London.

Andy began offering studio based drum tuition in 2005 and after quickly building up a substantial client list he founded Drumright in 2009 to meet the demands of the ever growing number of students wanting to take their drumming further. In 2011 Drumright were proud to become partners with Drumtech and Tech Music Schools in London.
